Here is an overview of the partners in this project and their responsibilities in this project.
With around 15,000 students, the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts is one of the ten largest universities of applied sciences in Germany. Around 70 study programs are offered in 8 faculties, including Bachelor's, Masters' and Ph. D. programs. The University is well-connected internationally and engaged in various national and international research projects. The Faculty of Design offers a range of forward-thinking study programs with a focus on societal impact, creativity and technology, such as the innovative and bilingual "Serious Games & Digital Knowledge" (B. A.) study program.
Prof. Dr. Jennifer Tiede is a professor of Game Studies and Digital Knowledge at FH Dortmund. Her work focuses on the intersection of games and learning; her key interests include game-based learning processes, learning games / serious games, media literacy, and digital media in schools and teacher education. She teaches, among other subjects, game studies and media pedagogy in the “Serious Games & Digital Knowledge” study program and conducts research on game-based learning in several national and international projects. Jennifer is the project coordinator of the Zahlandia project. Also, she is responsible for research and evaluation in the project.

Atlantic Infinity is a software and game development company that focuses on innovation and implementing new technologies to improve conventional systems. Atlantic Infinity's task on this project is to do the game development needed to allow a smooth transition between the real and the digital world.

ArtQuest Studios is an expert in creating in creating designs and visuals for games and websites. In this project, they will mainly focus on designing the games and conceptualise their user experience. ArtQuest has a special focus on barrier-free design and concepts for accessibility in user interfaces

OŠ Trnsko is a public primary school in Zagreb, Croatia, providing education from Grade 1 to Grade 8 in line with the Croatian national curriculum. The school promotes healthy lifestyles, reading culture, and active participation in community life, creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all students. It also takes part in international projects such as Erasmus+, strengthening foreign language skills, digital competence, and intercultural cooperation. OŠ Trnsko encourages innovation, collaboration, and lifelong learning.

Ingenious Knowledge prides itself in its ability to deliver cutting edge IT solutions and innovative approaches in education. When Ingenious Knowledge looks at the way that new generations grow up in a fast moving world they understand the new challenges that education is facing. At the same time they see the immense potential that today's technology can bring. Ingenious Knowledge believes that it's time for modern education approaches to focus on the learners and cater to their specific needs through individualization. In this project, Ingenious Knowledge will focus on the content development, creating the games by combining pedagogic knowledge and game design experience, but will also support the research and the software development as well as the teaching activities.

CEIP Tomás Romojaro is a public school in Fuensalida offering Early Childhood and Primary education based on the official Spanish curriculum. It promotes healthy habits and physical activity as a recognized “Healthy School,” fosters reading and cultural activities like book fairs, and engages in international projects such as Erasmus+ to enhance skills like mathematics and digital learning. The school also works on inclusion and community participation through events and collaborative programs.
